What an excellent afternoon, the weather took a turn for the better just in time for us to meet Rory and his family for photos. Haven’t had this much fun at a photo shoot yet, the entire group was in excellent spirits despite the wind and rather sharp sun shining into their eyes It was a pleasure to meet all of you and thanks again for the laughs, Heather and I had a blast!

Camryn’s first experience on the swings this past Sunday in Stanley Park. Gorgeous day in Vancouver allowed for some good seafood, a walk and even a few photo opportunities. I haven’t posted in a bit after my Olympic photo binge, enjoy!

Big crowd turned out for some band called the Stereophonics at BC Place this evening, they did an OK job All medals were awarded in Whistler tonight but they did play the ceremony on the big screen so we could see Canada receive another Gold Medal! Time is running out on the Vancouver Olympics so it’s time to make the most if it… what’s next?

Olympic Cauldron

The weather has been impressive over the past few days and this morning I took my opportunity while all the tourists were asleep and snapped a couple of photos of the Olympic Cauldron. Quite happy with the turnout, the sun was just rising and the flame looks great

USA vs Switzerland

Hockey is officially under way, three games back to back! Caught the first game live at Canada Hockey Place were the US managed to squeak out a win over the Swiss. It may have been the US versus the Swiss but the place was packed with loud, Canada fans! Go Canada Go!

Opening Ceremonies

After years of anticipation the night finally came and the Olympic torch was lit! The show was absolutely amazing and the crowd was electric. For over 3 hours I barley had a chance to put my camera down as something new and picture worthy kept happening. It wasn’t easy trying to juggle a flashlight, drum, candle torch, Canadian flag & camera all at once but I made it happen

Olympics – Only 4 days left!

Walking around downtown you can start to feel the buzz, only 4 days left till the Opening Ceremonies! I’ll be carrying my camera with me for the rest for the Olympics so check back often to see new photos.
