Lots of activity at the airport today, just prior to these pictures I saw two F18 take off to clear the skies for some special "VIP" personnel.

Opening Ceremonies
After years of anticipation the night finally came and the Olympic torch was lit! The show was absolutely amazing and the crowd was electric. For over 3 hours I barley had a chance to put my camera down as something new and picture worthy kept happening. It wasn't easy trying to juggle a flashlight, drum, candle torch, Canadian flag & camera all at once but I made it happen

Olympic Torch Relay & Olympic Oval
Another busy day around the city, had a chance to stop by the Olympic Oval for a few pictures and later in the evening saw the Torch Relay. Little warning, the Torch pictures are quite grainy as it was almost completely dark, thanks to my new camera I was able to actually still capture some of the moments! ISO 12,800!

Olympics – Only 4 days left!
Walking around downtown you can start to feel the buzz, only 4 days left till the Opening Ceremonies! I'll be carrying my camera with me for the rest for the Olympics so check back often to see new photos.

Hawaii 2010
Another vacation has come and gone but the memories were all captured. After filtering through just short of a 1000 pictures I've narrowed down my favorites to just under of 300. What an amazing trip, I wish I could have spend a little longer on the island to take more pictures and take in the sun. For the rainiest part of the year we must have gotten lucky with 8 straight days of sunshine, have a look
